Shipping Policies
Shipping Methods
All products weighing less than 70# are shipped via standard ground service. Items weighing in excess of 70# are shipped using a commercial freight carrier. There are some parts and materials that cannot be shipped because they contain hazardous materials including, but not limited to, batteries, transmission fluid, and brake fluid.
Shipping Charges
We charge an $8.95 handling fee for all orders that we ship via standard ground service. Certain heavy items such as engines, blocks, heads, etc., require special a special handling fee due to their weight. Most products that require freight shipping will display a special freight shipping indicator on the product detail page. We will contact you with a freight shipping quote before we process your order.
Shipping Charge Adjustments
In some instances we may need to adjust the shipping cost prior to shipping your order due to oversize or heavy items. We will contact you with a shipping quote prior to processing your order if your shipping costs will exceed the value charged during checkout.
Split Shipments
We make every effort to ship your order complete. This may not always be possible due to the items ordered, availability of product or special ordered items. If it becomes necessary to split ship your order for your convenience, the total shipping charges will be billed to your credit card at the initial shipment. Shipping charges are based on the total of the order, not based on the number of shipments. Please be aware, that your order may arrive in more than one box even when the order is shipped complete.
Shipping Destinations
We currently ship to any location serviced by UPS within the 50 United States. UPS cannot deliver to P.O. boxes or A.P.O. or F.P.O.
Order Status
To check the status of your order click on Order Tracking . The complete status of your order will be displayed. Your UPS tracking number will be available once your order has been shipped. You can track your UPS shipment by clicking on http://www.ups.com/WebTracking/track?loc=en_US
Delivery times vary by destination but on average orders will be delivered within 3-10 business days from date of shipment.
Sales Tax
Sales tax is calculated and added to the order based on the destination.
